As we had limited time in Firenze, our concierge Mr. Leonardo recommended to take a day tour with Hire in Italy. It was our last day and normally just planned a half day tour. 

Mirko arrived punctually with a luxurious Mercedez car at our hotel. From Firenze we took a scenic 45 minute ride to the beautiful village of Montefioralle where we did some walking in the narrow streets. The views are magnificent and we had enough photo stops to make some amazing pictures. Montefioralle is a very quiet village but has the typical Tuscany feeling, all inhabitants are very friendly.

Afterwards we took another scenic road through the wine field to the city of Greve in Chianti where we had a stroll on the main square and went to some very authentic shops like an amazing butcher called Antica Macelleria Falorni. Really worth the visit !

Further on our tour we visited the pitoresc village of Panzano where we visited the most famous butcher in Italy. He has a very nice small shop called antica macelleria cecchini where we could taste some local wine and some amazing salami and olive oils. Opposite is again a beautiful scenic spot.

One of the highlights on the tour was the visit to the wine field of La Papessa where we had the opportunity to buy some amazing bottles of wine after some tasting. They have some really good Chianti wines availability to take home. 

At this point we already spend more than a half day so Mirko was flexible enough to extend the tour and we had a late lunch in Firenze in a great restaurant called Il Latini. It is centrally located and we were dropped of in front of the restaurant which was very convenient.

We were really amazed by the nice tour. Mirko was amazing and had great knowledge nad excellent driving skills. Highly recommended !!

We were referred to Mirko and Hire in Italy by the company that we were renting our apartment from and we were very pleased with his services. All of our drivers were polite, well dressed and very knowledgeable about Florence and Chianti. One day we accidentally got off of the local bus in Chianti and Mirko arranged a very timely emergency pick up for us. We subsequently received a beautiful and picturesque tour through Chianti back to Florence. We will definitely use MIrko and his services again next time we are in Florence and we highly recommend him to anyone traveling to the area. Many thanks again to Mirko and his staff.

		After a lot of research to find a company that was able to handle all our car requirements we chose Hire in Italy and we could not have made a better choice. Me any my wife chose to get married near Siena in a wonderful abbey immersed in this wondrous countryside, it was like something from a fairy tale. We hired a wedding planner to take care of the actual service itself whilst Mirko and his expert team sorted out all the car arrangements just perfectly. My wife was accompanied to the church in a wonderful vintage Rolls Royce and our guests were picked up in several Mercedes vans, each and every vehicle in perfect condition. Email and phone communication was fast, efficient and professional at all times. We and our guests were so pleased with the whole experience that a few of us decided to book a day tour to Chianti, a tour of San Gimignano and Siena and then to Lucca and Pisa. Our driver for the days out, Giorgio, was such a pleasant driver, who whilst driving so smoothly along the beautiful tree-lined roads of Tuscany provided excellent interaction and a wealth of information on the local area. There is no doubt we will return very soon and make use of Hire in Italy's services once again. Highly recommendable. Grazie!!

		We were reccommended to use Mirko and his company Hire in Italy by friends who had booked a day trip last year and what a day it was. We had such an enjoyable trip visiting Chianti.I just wish we had had time to visit other places during our stay! Mirko, immaculately dressed and so polite and well mannered, came to our apartment in Via Proconsolo 10 minutes in advance and he picked up us in a spotlessly clean luxurious black Mercedes Benz. He drove us so carefully to visit the various little towns in Chianti from Gaiole to Panzano and along to Castellina and provided a sort of guided tour of the area. He recommended us where to stop off for lunch and let us visit a winery where we could taste the local wines and oils. The day was just spectacular. We cannot wait to come back and explore Tuscany further with Mirko! Grazie A presto!

		We had a great day in Tuscany with Mirko as our driver. Our apartment greeter recommended Mirko when we arrived in Florence for a day trip to Tuscany. I sent him a text and heard back from him the next day. Mirko's English was very good and it was easy to plan our day. I had been to Tuscany before and knew that I wanted to take my family to Siena and San Gimignano. We also wanted to try a wine tasting lunch. Mirko arrived promptly. His Mercedes van was clean and comfortable. He is a good driver. Mirko was very flexible about our schedule. He first took us to Siena and gave us advice on where to go. He then took us to a small family owned winery where we had an excellent lunch and a fun wine tasting. After lunch, we headed to San Gimignano to spend some time. We got a little confused walking through town and came out the wrong side. Mirko drove around until he found us! We had mentioned to Mirko that we enjoyed the Piazza Michelangelo in Florence. He offered to take us by there on the way back to the apartment. All in all, we had a great day and would highly recommend Mirko. He is easy going, reliable, flexible and knowledgable. An ideal driver for a day trip from Tuscany.

		We were looking to combine a trip to the American Military Cemetery outside Florence to visit a relative's grave with a day visiting sights in Tuscany. Our hotel recommended The "Hire in Italy" service. Although the cost for a full day (8 hours) is not inexpensive, the service, the quality of the vehicle and the knowledge of our driver made our day a pleasure. 

In addition to the cemetery, we visited several spots including some smaller towns, lunch at a winery in the Chianti region and a late afternoon visit to Sienna. We were able to structure the day at our own pace. The driver gave us a cell phone with a speed dial to reach him whenever we were ready to move on to the next stop. I doubt we would have found many of the places we visited. This was a last minute decision that turned out to be a memorable day in the Tuscan countryside! If you want to customize your tour without the hassle of driving, parking or tour group schedules etc. This company is a good choice.

		My brother, father and I had limited time in Florence but knew the highlights we wanted to see so we contacted Hire in Italy where Mirko replied with the best tour to accomodate our needs. We booked the tour and Mirko arrived at our hotel promptly 5 minutes before our departure. I received a call in my room to let me know he was waiting for us in the lobby. Upon meeting him, he was a gentleman and spoke wonderful English. He was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with us, as we had a lot of questions and my dad tends to talk a lot :)


Within the first ten minutes, he explained the best route in order to spend the most time in each city. First we drove to Pisa where he left us off up front and explained where we could purchase tickets to walk to the top of the tower, we set a time frame to meet back up when we were done. After Pisa we took a drive through the beautiful countryside of the Tuscan/Chianti area. He recommended a wonderful vineyard (Tenuta Torciano) to do some wine tasting and have an amazing lunch while learning about how to choose a great wine and how to pair it with certain foods. It was very informative and fun and we were lucky enough to have the owner of the vineyard himself, Pierluigi, lead the wine class. He was hilarious, witty and insightful. Afterward we drove to a nice spot to take some scenic photos. It was just like I had always seen on the post cards. Our last stop was to Sienna where Mirko parked us close to a museum where we were able to browse around and walk to the top to get some beautiful photos. We had heard that Florence was very well known for their leather and when we mentioned this, Mirko was on a call with a lovely leather shop in the city to see if they were still open. So after Sienna, he drove us back to the city and parked us right up front (which he made seem effortless in such a chaotic city) and we were able to do some shopping before ending our tour for the day.

		We hired Mirco for a day in Florence, had a wonderful time and felt like we made a friend. 

We travel extensively for business and leisure and can perhaps at times be too discerning, but this experience was flawless. 

Mirco is punctual, knowledgable, well-educated, friendly, possesses 5-star hotel manners and is extremely accommodating. He also knows his way around the city and has privileged access. E.g. at one of the tourist attractions we walked right by a long line and were escorted in without delay. He is also licensed to access areas of the city off-limit to regular traffic, which is extremely handy since much of the city center is restricted. 

If you want an enjoyable, hassle-free, facilitated yet flexible tour of Florence, call Mirco.

Ho scoperto questa agenzia tramite sito internet. Devo dire che il tour è stato bellissimo (Chianti tour)! Oltre alle bellezze che offre la regione Toscana (e in particolare la superba area del Chianti), il personale è stato fantastico e molto disponibile. I prezzi non sono per niente alti rispetto a quello che il tour offre! Super consigliato!!!
